Let our boys not be neglected
" "Responsible young boys are on a path of becoming a man one day,” says the Sisterhood foundation"
The Sisterhood Heroines are making a difference in the Port Nolloth community.
They believe that as much as they are women, they are being catered for in natural causes like menstruation.
On the other hand, a boy child also has natural causes that can affect them and that is their armpits.
Not having enough finances and proper toiletries can lead to bullying, absenteeism at school, and low self-esteem.
This is a sad reality for many of our teenage boys.
Situations like these make it easier for a boy child to be accessed into the wrong crowd, with peers that will never judge but accept them.
Boys are being neglected yet it is expected of them to grow into responsible men.
Shield a boy child has thus far reached its purpose because we are actively involved in requesting donations from various businesses, local shops, and communities.
We are proud to say that the boy child takes sanitary towels for their sisters and girlfriends.
“Responsible young boys are on a path of becoming a man one day,” says the Sisterhood Heroines.
