The Nama Youth Guardians says it is making progress behind the scenes with Phase One of its BuyABrick fundraising project.
The organisation announced that scheduled maintenance will take place on Monday, 16 March, which may briefly affect donations through the BackaBuddy platform.
According to the organisation, the campaign has so far raised R5,017 towards its initial goal of R200,000.
The BuyABrick initiative was first launched in July last year as part of a long-term community development effort.
Organiser Estefan Pieterse says the project aims to help build a future where children have a safe and supportive environment rather than needing to be rescued.
