Sentencing for convicted murderer Alberto Matthews has been delayed again by another day following a postponement by the Northern Cape High Court. Judge Danie Olivier adjourned court until tomorrow morning after pre-sentencing arguments today. Matthews was found guilty of the December 2023 murder of his ex-wife, Mandy Bailey. Bailey was shot in front of her nine-year-old daughter. Matthews also faces sentencing for the illegal possession of a firearm and violating a protection order.
