The Northern Cape Rural TVET College’s Namakwaland Campus will hold a memorial service this Friday, the 23rd of January 2026, to honour the late Ms Eileen Bottom.

Tributes continue to pour in from students, staff, and community members, remembering her as a compassionate mother figure and dedicated colleague.

Ms Bottom is being celebrated for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support, which touched countless lives on campus.

The memorial service will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Namakwaland Campus Hall and will reflect on her life and lasting legacy.

The college has extended its condolences to her family, colleagues, and all those affected by her passing.
