The athletics season is gaining momentum as learners across several Nama-Khoi Municipal area schools showcase determination, teamwork, and school pride.

At Okiep High School, House 3 Kwagga is leading the points table with 67 points, closely followed by House 1 Pumas on 65 and House 2 Cheetahs on 63.

At Concordia High School, the Red Roses claimed top honours after two days of intense competition with 286 points, ahead of the Lilies on 254, while the Violets finished on 169, displaying strong fighting spirit.

The events highlighted resilience, sportsmanship, and enthusiastic participation from all houses.

Meanwhile, SA Van Wyk High School is set to host its interhouse athletics on 28 January, featuring a much-anticipated clash between the Cheetahs and the Lions.
