Concordia High School delivered a standout performance at the 40th Top 20 Convention in Hartswater, securing an impressive second place overall among 29 schools, more than 40 teams and 698 athletes.

The team earned all of their points on the track, where every athlete competed with determination, pride and a strong sense of unity under the Blue Flame banner. 

In the 200 metres, Lezhaan Bugan claimed a silver medal, Katelynn Bennett powered to gold, John Engelbrecht also struck gold with an outstanding time, and Chand-Lee Schamboua added a bronze medal, with several teammates contributing valuable points in the same event. 

Over the 800 metres, Micayline Bezuidenhoudt ran a strong, strategic race to secure silver, while both Engelbrecht and Schamboua each achieved over 700 points for the team, highlighting their endurance and consistency.

The results reflect Concordia’s depth of talent and unwavering commitment to excellence, as the Blue Flame burned high and bright throughout the competition.
