Concordia High School showcased exceptional talent at the 40th Top 20 Convention in Hartswater, securing an impressive second place overall among 29 schools, over 40 teams, and 698 athletes.
John Engelbrecht dominated the track, winning gold medals in both the 3000m and 1500m events, demonstrating remarkable endurance and earning the title of Overall Best U15 Boys Athlete.
In the sprint events, Lezhaan Bugan earned a silver medal in the 100m, while Shelwyn Cloete claimed bronze, and Katelynn Bennett and Nathan Square both secured gold medals in the 100m hurdles, highlighting the team’s speed and agility.
The Bluefrokkies consistently contributed strong performances across multiple events, with most athletes scoring over 600 points, reflecting the depth and strength of the team.
