The Namakwa community turned out in large numbers in Springbok yesterday to support the CANSA Relay For Life event.

The overnight gathering ran from 6pm to 6am, with participants showing strong commitment throughout the night.

Liz Swanepoel, leader of the Farmer Fighters group in the fight against cancer, says the turnout was encouraging.

She says that the event highlights the community’s solidarity and unity in supporting those affected by cancer.
