In a painful appeal, Julie Estey is calling on the Namakwaland community and beyond to assist the grieving Sieplie family from Buffelsrivier in the Nama Khoi Local Municipality.
The family is struggling to raise funds for the funeral of 18-year-old Marshall “Percy” Sieplie, who passed away on 14 March 2026.
Percy, who loved soccer and played for local teams, faced significant hardship after losing both his parents within the past two years.
With only his older siblings remaining, the financial burden of arranging a dignified burial, planned for 28 March 2026, has become overwhelming.
Donations are being coordinated through Bloom Namakwaland, as community members are urged to come together to support the family in their time of need.
