The Nama Khoi Local Municipality has reiterated its sewer extraction schedule as it works to address a backlog caused by limited resources.
Yesterday, municipal teams were servicing the Springbok area, with only two sewer trucks currently operational to carry out the work.
Residents in Buffelsrivier and Komaggas today are in line and are expected to receive services, as part of the weekly rotation plan.
The municipality has appealed to residents for patience and cooperation, noting that the backlog is actively being addressed to restore normal service levels.
Community members are encouraged to ensure access to their properties and make use of municipal reporting channels should urgent sewer-related issues arise.
