The Namakwa Civic Movement has raised concerns about the increasing amount of litter and illegal dumping, saying it shows a lack of personal responsibility in society.

The movement says that environmental cleanliness is not the responsibility of municipalities alone, but begins with individual actions and daily choices.

The group encourages citizens to take ownership by picking up litter, educating children, and speaking out against neglect.

The party says that sustainable change is driven by small, ongoing actions from community members.

The NCM calls on citizens to act now and play their part in building a cleaner, more respectful and dignified society.
