The Namamkwa schools and community have expressed their pride in Okiep High School students Celine Cloete and Bronwyn Samuels, who competed in the Proscenium Drama Competition and were selected as winners.

The pupils will represent their school in the national finals to be held at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town.

Their success highlights the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, inspiring other students to follow their talents. 

Special thanks are extended to Ms. Franche van der Heever for her dedication to training and mentoring young actors. 

In related arts news, SA Van Wyk High School is celebrating as its student, Conwill Cloete, also reached the finals of the same national competition.
