The Richtersveld Municipality Mayoral Easter Tournament kicked off yesterday in Port Nolloth, drawing an impressive crowd of rugby fans. 

In the opening match, Richtersveld Warriors RFC and Rangers RFC played to a thrilling 13-all draw, setting the tone for a competitive tournament.

In match two, Young Stars RFC secured a hard-fought 17–13 victory over Namabeep RFC, with Gino Wilson earning Man of the Match honors. 

The tournament continues today, with organisers encouraging community members to come out in full support as the remaining fixtures are expected to be fiercely contested and full of action on the field.

Teams in action include Rangers RFC, Young Stars RFC, Richtersveld Warriors, Garies Marigolds, Lutzville RFC, and Nababeep Rugby Club.
