The Nama Khoi Local Municipality says sewer drain servicing is continuing today, the 4th of April, as efforts intensify to clear a backlog across the area.
The municipality says this is due to the only two sewer trucks are currently operational, impacting the pace of service delivery.
Today’s servicing is scheduled for Komaggas and Buffelsrivier, following earlier past week operations in Concordia, Nababeep, Okiep, Steinkopf and Springbok.
The Municipality says say no servicing took place yesterday and disruptions are expected around the Family Day public holiday.
Residents are being urged to remain patient and to allow access to their properties as teams work to restore normal services.
