The Khâi-Ma Municipality is calling on all low-income residents to register for access to free basic services as part of its indigent support programme.
The registration process will run from the 13th to the 17th of April 2026 at the municipal hall, with services available daily from 8am until 4:30pm.
Municipal officials say the registration campaign will cover communities in Pofadder, Pella, Onseepkans, and Witbank.
Residents are required to present a certified copy of their identity document, proof of income or an affidavit confirming unemployment, full household details, a recent bank statement, and their municipal account.
The municipality has warned that failure to register within the specified period will result in residents being excluded from receiving indigent support and free basic services.
