Rampokkers is calling for greater community unity as its Winter Drive continues to support disadvantaged households across the Namakwa region.

The organisation held a Bring A Blanket fundraising campaign in Springbok on Friday, August 14, benefiting more than 100 community members from Okiep, Matjieskloof and Rooivaal.

Rampokkers says the initiative aims to bring warmth and support to households facing difficult circumstances during the winter season.

Heinrich Roberson is urging the private sector, including local sports clubs, to join the initiative and help create an even greater impact next year.

Roberson says the Winter Drive is not only a response during times of desperation, but a continuous community effort, with donations welcomed throughout the year.
