The battle for school athletics supremacy has kicked off in the Namakwa District, with excitement building across the District.

In Richtersveld Local Municipality,  Port Nolloth Primary, Hoërskool Port Nolloth, and Port Nolloth Intermediate, are gearing up to host a massive athletics event on 30 January 2026, promising to be much bigger and better than ever before. 

Organisers are hyping it as the highlight of the season, with the iconic track and field action set to light up Port Nolloth and draw fierce competition from rival schools in the region. 

Over in Richtersveld, pupils and coaches are eagerly looking forward to the showdown, ready to challenge the hosts and showcase their speed, strength, and school spirit on the big day.
