Northern Cape Education MEC Abraham Vosloo is scheduled to visit Pella Primary School tomorrow to engage directly with parents in the Khai-Ma Municipality regarding urgent infrastructure concerns.

Parents have pointed severe electricity and water shortages, as well as classrooms suffering from extreme humidity, making it difficult for learners to study in safe and comfortable conditions.

During his visit, Vosloo is expected to outline concrete steps and solutions to address these challenges and improve the learning environment for pupils.

Later this week, the MEC will travel to Soebatsfontein in the Kamiesberg Municipality to meet the community and express sympathy following tragic learner transport accidents in Komaggas.

These incidents have sparked criticism over the poor condition of school transport, raising urgent concerns about learner safety and prompting calls for immediate government intervention.
