Fuel price recovery data for the second week of February shows that both petrol and diesel prices are now lined up for possible hikes next month.
According to the Central Energy Fund’s latest data, the under-recovery for diesel prices has deepened, while petrol prices have moved into negative territory.
Petrol prices may increase by between two and three cents per litre, and diesel prices could see a potential hike of around 46 cents per litre.
BusinessTech reports that the recent spike in global oil prices is contributing to the possible rise in petrol prices.
