Bullying is defined as unwanted, aggressive behaviour that involves a real or perceived power imbalance, where repeated actions cause harm, fear, or distress to another person. The Namakwa Youth Crime Prevention Desk together with Springbok police, today conducted an anti-bullying awareness programme at Namakwaland high school. 

The desk says the session focused on the impact of bullying and the importance of creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all learners.

Through engaging speeches that were creatively turned into interactive and fun activities, learners were encouraged to better understand and remember the seriousness of bullying. 

the police commended the school management, educators and learners for their active participation, emphasising that such involvement reflects the strength of the community in addressing challenges affecting young people.
