The Northern Cape Jobs and Investment Conference has concluded with strong commitments, as MEC for Treasury Venus Blennies-Magage announced investment pledges amounting to R105 billion on April 15.

The provincial government says the conference focuses on driving investment, unlocking opportunities, and building a more inclusive provincial economy.

Blennies-Magage says key highlights include the launch of the InvestSA One Stop Shop and NEF-supported projects, aimed at reducing bureaucracy and streamlining investor processes.

Blennies-Magage says these initiatives will cut red tape, improve turnaround times, and support job creation and economic growth in the province.

The event featured site visits to funded projects and concluded its first day with a gala dinner that reinforced partnerships and investor confidence in the Northern Cape’s economic future.
