Residents and employees have been urged to exercise caution during periods of heavy rainfall following a safety notice regarding the use of water coolers.
According to Vedanta public notice issued today, Khaingem Engineering says operating water coolers in wet weather conditions may lead to electrical power trips and unexpected outages.
The notice warns that such incidents could also result in damage to electrical infrastructure and connected appliances.
Vedanta have further highlighted increased safety risks associated with operating these devices during downpours.
Residents are urged to avoid using water coolers during heavy rain to help maintain a safe and stable electricity supply.
