The Northern Cape governement has set an ambitious target of growing its economy to R200 billion while creating around 60 000 jobs, as announced at the Provincial Investment Conference this week, April 15.

The announcement was made during discussions focused on accelerating investment and strengthening economic growth in the province.

Government says that the target will be driven by strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors.

Dr. Zamani Saul, provincial premier says that the conference speaks directly to the need to improve infrastructure, reduce red tape, and attract large-scale investment into key industries.

Saul says the initiative forms part of a broader plan to boost employment and ensure long-term economic sustainability in the province.
