Following recent departmental appointments announced by Premier Dr Zamani Saul, Northern Cape MEC for Agriculture Lebogang Motlhaping met with the department’s executive leadership.

MEC Motlhaping addressed provincial staff on Tuesday, January 20, emphasising stability, continuity, and strict adherence to administrative and governance standards.

The MEC called for focused and strategic leadership to improve service delivery and advance inclusive growth, sustainable development, and rural transformation.

The MEC says the kay priorities are to improve internal processes, strengthening stakeholder collaboration, supporting farmers, and promoting climate-smart agricultural practices.

MEC Motlhaping stressed that teamwork, partnerships, equality, and the right tools are essential to delivering meaningful results for farmers and communities across the province.
