The Eskom Expo for Young Scientists has kickstarted to roll out its District Expos across South Africa, with several events scheduled in the Namakwa region this May.

These expos mark the first compulsory stage of the competition, giving local learners a platform to present their research projects and receive expert feedback.

Trained selectors from various science and innovation fields will guide participants in improving their methodology, data analysis, and overall project quality.

Top-performing learners from these district events will advance to the Regional Science Fairs starting in July.

In Namakwa, expos will be hosted at schools including Namakwaland High, Steinkopf High, Aggeneys International School, and others between 19 and 26 May.
