South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in the Namakwa region is urging beneficiaries to familiarise themselves with the agency’s new electronic life-certification system.
The agency says the e-Life Certification Portal aims at allowing eligible beneficiaries to complete life certification electronically, helping reduce the need for in-person visits to SASSA offices.
The agency officials encourage beneficiaries to understand the new system and follow the required processes to avoid disruptions to their grant payments.
Agency Namakwa official Cornell Maarman also confirmed the grant payment dates for October.
Beneficiaries are reminded to keep themselves informed about SASSA processes and seek assistance from the agency should they experience difficulties with their grants.
