Police in Nababeep have opened an inquest following the discovery of the body of a 57-year-old woman in Gaatjie Street on Wednesday morning, May 06.

The body was found at approximately 08:30, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear at this stage.

Police say an autopsy will be conducted to establish the exact cause of death.
