The family of Steenkamp-Adonis, still in shock over the unexpected and terrible death of a loved one, has made a sincere request for financial support to pay for the funeral.

This comes after a horrific fire at a house in Soebatsfontein, Namakwa District, on Saturday, June 9, tragically claimed the lives of three children.
The Namakwa community was left in shock and mourning after the horrible deaths of three children.

According to a regional police spokesman, Colonel Cherelle Ehlers, they found a 25-year-old lady outdoors with burn injuries early on the morning after the fire broke out at the property. The woman’s current state of health is unknown.
Inside the house, there was a horrifying scene. Three dead toddlers were found inside a bedroom. Among the victims are a child, two years old, and two girls, both eight years old. The victims’ names are still unknown at this moment.
Mervin Cloete, the Executive Mayor of the Namakwa District Municipality, offered his deepest condolences and sympathy. Cloete visited Soebatsfontein following the incident before visiting their mother in the hospital.
A brief funeral service was also held at the Springbok Hospital during the week before she was transferred to the Upington Hospital. The district municipality has provided the family with psychological support and is actively investigating the fire’s cause.
The Hondeklip Bay police are investigating the event at this time.
