Death shall not be proud as it entered without knocking for the Cloete family. The festival season will not be the same. 

Beloved local biker, Aurhann Cloete (25) will be laid to rest in Concordia on Saturday, 23 December. 

The South African Police Service in the Northern Cape reported that on the 17 December, the deceased allegedly lost control of his motorcycle. The horrific accident occurred on the R382, Steinkof/Port Nolloth road.

“The motorcycle veered off the road resulting in the fatal crash. The twenty-five year old was declared dead on the scene by paramedics,” Sgt Molefe Shemane said. 

Witnesses at the scene said that the bike broke into two pieces and the body fell at distance.

Shemane said that the police are investigating a culpable homicide case to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic accident. 

Following the misfortune event, the 8271 Bikers and local traffic vehicles escorted lifeless body to Springbok mortuary.

Aurhann whose known for being free spirited individual was the only child from both of his parents. 

On Wednesday, the bikers honored the deceased memory with beautiful motorcycle parade in Concordia and Cloete family had a service later in the evening.

According to 8271 Bikers on Saturday, the home funeral service will start at 07h30 and church service will commerce at 9am.
